We offer therapy throughout the ‘lifetime’ of a relationship- from New Relationship Energy to Compassion Burnout.

Reasons for relationship therapy include transitions such as new relationships, multiple relationships, uncoupling, and other relationship transitions.

Relationship therapy differs from individual therapy in that we spend less time discussing detailed issues and more time discussing communication style and effectiveness. Methods we use when assisting couples include Compassionate Communication techniques, Emotionally Focused techniques, and learning about how each person shows and understands love from their partner(s).

We are an LGBT-Friendly Couples Practice

While we gladly offer therapy to married, heterosexual, cisgender couples, we find that we have the most success when working to assist relationships wherein one or more individuals identify with at least one aspect of our specialties.

We specialize in Polyamory, Open Relationships, and more…

Alternative Relationship Structures:

  • Polyamory
  • Open-relationships
  • Communal Families/Polyfidelity
  • Power Exchange including Levels of Collaring, etc.

Mainstream Relationship Styles:

  • Premarital counselling
  • Couple’s therapy
  • Marriage therapy
